We are a full-service Public Relations Agency based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with feelers / tentacles reaching out regionally. We are known for our innovative campaigns, prompt activation, and strategic counsel approach to PR. We don’t believe in the cookie cutter approach; just as we don’t specialise in a narrow range of industries.

Our belief is that PR is for all – big or small; established or startup – there is a story to tell. It’s our job to polish that story and get others interested. Orchan’s represented global giants including Servcorp, PUMA, Red Bull Product of Europe, and Dyson. Conversely, we’ve represented hawker stalls, propelled local start-ups into the national scene, and helped build brand positioning of many Malaysian and regional products, services, and personalities.

Our specialty is in understanding our client’s business – enabling Orchan to be an extension of your team – enabling better representation. We are not “yes men” – we give strategic advice to ensure your brand has a sustainable communications trajectory that potentially outlives Agency, team, and stakeholders. Brand sustainability is the ultimate goal, with communication being a key support pillar.

In addition to Public Relations, Orchan also designs and delivers targeted training sessions for clients and third-party organisers. Our broad industry experience means we are well-equipped at the pulse of the industry to guide and support clients in keeping abreast of current trends and practices. Training initiatives include Crisis Management Planning and Communication, Stakeholder Relations, Strategic Public Relations Practice, Media Landscape, and Change Management.

Orchan was founded by and is headed by business partners Farrell Tan and Craig J Selby. Farrell is a seasoned PR practitioner with key interests in property, FMCGs, luxury, and B2B marketing. Farrell has over 15 years professional Public Relations experience (with 10 years in management positions). Craig, on the other hand, is a career educator, academic, and entrepreneur. His core concentration is on management communication and crisis management as key areas in managing change. His interests and experience are in education, F&B, property, and business services. Craig brings to the table 15 years of senior management experience across industries; with 25 years experience in the broad education industry.
